Order of Merit Bye Laws - Amended: 6 December 2010
This competition shall be open to all members of Clubs affiliated to the KZNLGA
The format and allocation of points shall be determined by the Executive committee.
The Trophy and Prizes shall be awarded to the player gaining the most points and shall be presented at the Players meeting at the KZNLGA Inter –Club Championship.
There shall be no entrance fee.
Points will be awarded for the best score returned by a KwaZulu–Natal player in the following Championships

KwaZulu-Natal Championships |
Stroke Play: 20, 15, 10, 5, 2, 1 Match Play: 20, 10, 5, 5 |
|
Regional Stroke Play Championships: |
10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 |
|
Inter-Club Championship: Points will be awarded to each player of the team. |
6, 4, 2, 1 |
|
Other Provincial Championships: |
Stroke Play: 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 Match Play: 10, 8, 6, 6. |
|
Points will be awarded as follows if a player finishes in the position 1 to 5 Participation in all Provincial Championships will earn 1 point for participation. | |
|
WGSA Amateur Championship: |
Stroke Play: 20, 15, 10, 5, 2 Match Play: 20, 10, 5, 5 |
|
One point for each round played in the Match Play main draw if knocked out by the semi finals. | |
