The Natal ladies Golf Union
was Started in 1918, but the first traceable President was Dorothy
Robinson in 1965. She later went on to become the President of the
South African Ladies Golf Association. The Union then changed it’s
name to the KwaZulu-Natal Ladies Golf Association. KwaZulu Natal
ladies Golf Association has had players represent South Africa,
Jackie Mercer, Judith Patterson and Val Holland to mention a few.
The longest standing member of the Executive Committee is Hilary
Johnson, Hilary was President of the Union from 1985—1988,
whereafter became the Secretary until she retired as secretary in
2007. The Association is the second biggest in South Africa when it
comes to the number of lady members, only second to Gauteng. The
Association is involved with Development Golf, promotes and helps
the KZNLGA provincial players, as well as serving the members in the
Association
