The girls really played some very good golf and narrowly missed the A1 section by 1 point. However they came back and won the A2 section beating North West on a count out. The other Provinces in their section were Free State and NC Gauteng B and North West.
Michaela Fletcher has been selected with Kim Daniels to play in a Junior Tournament in India early November all very exciting and on top of it all she had a Hole in One at the short 6th hole at George Golf Club.

KZNLGA Strokeplay Champs 2012
Lara Weinstein had a nine-stroke landslide victory at the KwaZulu Natal Stroke Play
Championships played at Maritzburg Golf Club,
Lara finished on six under par with rounds of 70 and 68 (138) from Cara Gorlei and Alana van Greuning tied on 147. Francesca Cuturi (Randpark) and Monja Richards tied fourth on 148 and three players Bianca Lobauer (Paarl), Bonita Bredenhann (Serengeti) and Nobuhle Dlamini (Centurion) carded 149 to be tied sixth.

Former South African Match Play Champion, Nobuhle Dlamini added another trophy to
her already overflowing cabinet when she won the 2012 KwaZulu Natal match play championship
at Maritzburg Golf Club yesterday.

Junior Rosebowl Champs
The Junior Rose Bowl Championship was held at the beautiful Pearl Valley Golf Estate
on 2nd /3rd April.
A team of 7 Juniors chaperoned by Our Development Officer Liz Donald flew to Cape Town to take part. Michaela Fletcher and Courtenay James played in the A Division 0-9 H'cap Michaela came 7th , Brittany-Fay Berger in the B Division 10-18 H'cap finishing 2nd only one shot behind the winner. Well done Britt!
The Bronze Division we had three girls playing Sarah Tychsen,Senead van Niekerk, and Danielle Johnson, and in the Copper Division Nicollene Viviers. It was a first for some of the girls and they played really well - Well done to you all.
A big thank you to the parents who found sponsorship for the kit and the team looked really smart.
We look forward to next year as it is to be played here in KZN and hopefully we will have many more juniors participating.
